Named after the old Northumbrian word for twilight, The Darkening is consists of Kathryn Tickell (Northumbrian smallpipes, fiddle, vocals), Amy Thatcher (accordion, clogs, synth, vocals), Heather Cartwright (vocals, guitar), Joe Truswell (drums), and Stef Conner (vocals, lyres).
