After a long interval, our doors have now re-opened!

Since 4 August, we have been delighted to welcome audiences again, to enjoy a film programme screened in our main auditorium. In adherence with social distancing guidelines, we are currently operating at just under 20% capacity and accommodate a maximum audience of 105 per screening. Please read our FAQs if you're planning a visit.

We are also delighted to announce that our sister venue The Old Market Hall has re-opened the Café Bar with the creation of a new outdoor seating area in The Square, although the cinema at OMH will remain closed for a little while longer.

The latest government advice suggests that social distancing will remain in place until November at the earliest, and as a result, all live performances planned at Theatre Severn during September and October are likely to be rescheduled. If you have tickets for a forthcoming live performance, we ask that you do not contact us at this time. We will be in touch with you directly when there are any further updates to share. We continue to work closely with visiting producers in order to reschedule events on alternative dates where possible.

Where any events are rescheduled or cancelled, ticketholders will be offered the following options:

  • Retain your tickets where events are rescheduled. Existing tickets will remain valid.

  • Request an account credit. Where possible, we would be hugely grateful if ticketholders committed to visit us again when we re-open by accepting an account credit to use against a future booking.

  • Alternatively, a full refund is available.

We thank everyone for their patience and support while we explore further re-opening and can't wait to welcome you to Theatre Severn again.

Midday - 7pmMonday to Saturday
A Box Office counter service will be available at the theatre from 45 minutes before and until 15 minutes after film start times.
