Returning once again to The Walker Theatre stage, Shrewsbury Youth Theatre perform a new adaptation of Charles Dickens’ classic, Great Expectations.
After a terrifying encounter with a mysterious convict in his country village, young Pip comes into large fortune. Entering high London society, Pip pursues the identity of his anonymous benefactor, all the while navigating the responsibilities and opportunities of his own expectations, and those of the people around him.
SYT once again introduces Shrewsbury audiences to an exciting cast of young performers, who breath life into an array of Dickens’ most colourful characters.
